This Week in science we went out into the park to collect stuff to put into our spiders ecosystem. We made annotated documents, answering questions and summarizing what we collected and did when we went to the parks. We collected twigs, and leaves, pebbles, a rock and dirt. We put branches in our tank too. We accessed our prior knowledge, writing the definitions of what we thought on certain words.
I learned from reading on the internet spiders don't eat earth worms. So putting the worms into our tank was kind of pointless since the spider wont eat them. Worms do keep dirt moist so thats a plus. Spiders only eat specific types of worms and crickets etc. I learned new words and their meanings when we did the definition activity with post-its.
